2.9 Million Views Ain't Too Shabby

10 years ago Scofield Digital Storytelling (then Scofield Editorial) produced this video. Our business, and business in general, has changed a whole lot since then. But, oddly enough, this video still resonates.

Don’t get us wrong, we love our clients. Obviously, we wouldn’t be in business without them. But, any professional services business receives some pretty odd requests sometimes and this video does a great job of highlighting those.

The video was a bit of a hit when we released it. We first posted it rather anonymously, and our friends and clients were soon saying, “Hey, have you seen this video? It’s hilarious and so spot on!”  It went on to win Best in Show at the Indianapolis Addy Awards, and got a silver in the national competition.

And the original YouTube posting has garnered over 2.9 million views. Not too shabby.

What’s been amazing is reading all of the comments under the video - especially seeing that the scenarios shown in the video resonate with all kinds of service-oriented businesses, not just creative or video.

Anyway, let’s all revisit this blast from the past, and see if we can’t get any closer to breaking that 3 million mark.
